General Insurer of the YearThis award commenced in 1998 and is now Australia’s most prestigious general insurance industry recognition as it is voted on by brokerages all over Australia. Brokerages select the insurer that performs the best overall on a range of important product and service quality factors.The relevance of these criteria have been tested and re-tested over a number of years. The winner is announced at the opening ceremony of the NIBA Annual Convention in October each year. The winner has the right to use NIBA General Insurer of the Year in its marketing and promotional activities for one year. Based on the votes of about 2,500 NIBA Qualified Practising Insurance Brokers, the 2009 award was presented to QBE at NIBA’s 27th Annual Convention, being held at Sydney’s Darling Harbour. Congratulations for the eighth time, to QBE Insurance Australia on winning the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) General Insurer of the Year award. |
