NIBA Industry Awards

NIBA presents a number of awards annually. Click the name of the award below to find out more:

• The Lex McKeown Trophy is awarded to an industry participant for outstanding service to NIBA.
• The Warren Tickle Memorial Award sponsored by Vero.This award is given to a young professional broker (under 35 years of age) who performs his or her work in a manner that merits recognition for its excellence. Candidates for this award are the winners of the State Young Professional of the Year, awarded between May - August to a nominee in each of the following regions: QLD, NSW & ACT, Vic & Tas, SA & NT, WA.
• The General Insurer of the Year is awarded by NIBA to the best performing general insurer as voted on by brokers each year.
• The Frank Earl Memorial Scholorship provides covers the full study costs for the Graduate Diploma of Financial Services, awarded toa broker who can demonstrate thier commitment to their broking career.
• CGU NIBA Professional Excellence Scholorships - CGU has partnered with NIBA to provide ten scholarships to the Certified Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) program. The CPIB is a practical, hands on professional development experience designed to promote excellence in our industry.
