As a licensee you need to have appropriate measures in place to ensure you continue to provide your financial services efficiently, honestly and fairly. As part of getting your license you documented your processes and procedures in some form. You now have to monitor and review these on regular basis to ensure that they are effective.

NIBA Compliance Manager consists of training, software and compliance review services. These are practical tools that have been designed and priced specifically for the small to medium sized brokerage to manage and monitor their FSRA compliance requirements

NIBA Compliance Management Software

Compliance Manager is a web based tool, designed by insurance software specialists 3rdmill, specifically for small to medium sized brokerages.

Compliance Manager makes monitoring and controlling compliance activities easy by:

  • Allowing the compliance officer to schedule all the compliance activities that need to be undertaken by the brokerage under the FSRA regime;
  • Issuing daily email reminders to compliance officers and monthly reminders to responsible officers to review specific aspects of compliance; and
  • Keeping scheduled activities on a ‘To Do’ list until they are dealt with by the relevant manager.

Compliance Manager is so simple to use it runs as a stand alone system. Brokerages can easily configure it to suit the users in their brokerage. However, users have access to NIBA’s Technical Services Manager for any queries with running the system. It is a web-based system so users do not need to spend money on any additional software or improved ‘grunt’ for their hardware.

NIBA offers Compliance Manager on a subscription basis based on number of employees. The annual license fee depends on the number of employees and covers access to the system, yearly maintenance and computer storage and NIBA support.
