NIBA board appoints new director

OAMPS Chief Operating Officer David Wyner has been appointed to the Board of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) following its meeting in Melbourne today.

Victorian-based Mr Wyner replaces Greg Rynenberg from East West Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd in Queensland.

NIBA Chief Executive Noel Pettersen said Mr Rynenberg has been an enthusiastic and dedicated representative for brokers in his state.

“Greg has served his association with great vitality and commitment, particularly with regard to his work on NIBA’s Education Committee,” he said.

Other members of the Board are President Paul Goddard (Macey Insurance Brokers), Vice President Steve Lardner (Aon Risk Services), Frank Earl (Arthur J Gallagher), Michael Donnelly (Donnelly Insurance Brokers), David Duffield (Marsh), David Newton (Westminster Broking House), Shayne Smith (Insurance Broking Queensland), Graham Stevens (Pro Risk Insurance Brokers), Steve Ball (Jardine Lloyd Thompson), John Halliday (Willis Australia) and David Squire (Apogee Broker Services).
