Flood alert eases in Northern NSW

Despite earlier warnings of serious flooding around Tamworth, Wee Waa and Gunnedah, the waters are now expected to peak well below minor flood levels.

There have been no reports of significant damage to commercial or residential properties, but local infrastructure has been affected and it appears the State Government after declaring the event a disaster will assist with repairs to roads, bridges and the like.
