A Reminder about PDS's

From 1 January, 2009, you need to notify ASIC of any PDS changes online. The new notification format results from changes to the Corporations Act designed to reduce the compliance burden of FSA licensees.         

The forms involved are Form FS88 PDS in-use notice, Form FS89 Notice of change to fees and charges in a PDS,Form FS90 Notice that a product in a PDS has ceased to be available and are available on ASIC’s existing online portals

    The Brumby Labor Government has accepted in principle the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission's recommendation to replace the Fire Services Levy with a progressive property-based levy and introduce concessions for low-income earners.
