Victoria's best and brightest young broker recognised

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced the Victoria/Tasmania finalist for the prestigious Warren Tickle Memorial Award for young brokers.

Melbourne-based OAMPS Insurance Brokers’ Account Executive Robert Richard is the last competitor in a talented list of state finalists from around the country who are in the running for the national award, which will be presented at the NIBA Convention next month.

Other finalists are Marsh Australia’s Mathew Korff from NSW; Darwin-based broker Elias Anictomatis, also of Marsh; and Aon Risk Services Account Executive Lana Rose from Queensland.

Anthony Day, Vero’s Executive General Manager Intermediated Distribution, presented Mr Richard with his finalist award at the NIBA Victorian Division Ball on Saturday.

NIBA Chief Executive Noel Pettersen says Mr Richard is a “great young ambassador for his peers who impressed the judging panel immensely”.

The Warren Tickle Memorial Award, sponsored by Vero, goes to a young NIBA broker who exhibits an outstanding level of professionalism and integrity. The award includes free attendance at the NIBA Convention and a trip for two to London to experience the international insurance market with five nights accommodation, a three-day education program and spending money.
