'True Believer' Paul Goddard made NIBA Honorary Fellow

Two decades of selfless contribution to the broking community and to the National Insurance Brokers Association has led to Paul Goddard being made only the eighth NIBA Honorary Fellow.

NIBA President, Steve Lardner, made the announcement at the 27th Annual NIBA Convention, being held at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Mr Lardner said Paul had made a contribution to the industry that was unique and outstanding in every possible way and he was a “true believer” in the broking cause.

“He’s a successful practising broker, and long-serving divisional committee and board member. Last year he completed a two year term as President of the Association.

“His selfless approach to the day-to-day issues impacting brokers and the association generally has been outstanding. We all respect his input and crusty experience. Yet underneath is a man passionately keen to see the young achievers in the industry come through and shine at the next level.

“His contribution to the things that NIBA has achieved over two decades has been immense. He’s attended literally hundreds of meetings, never shirking the long return drive he’s always had to make from his office on the south coast of NSW,” Mr Lardner said.

"The Brumby Labor Government is taking the tough decisions and doing the hard work to keep Victoria fire ready and safe," Mr Lenders said.
