NIBA undertakes an extensive marketing, promotional and media campaign to promote the convention, commencing in April 2010. This gives sponsors and exhibitors the opportunity to access a highly targeted and influential audience.

A dedicated NIBA Convention website will go live in April 2010, located at www.niba.com.au/convention providing all the “up to the minute” information on the convention, online registration plus space dedicated to NIBA Convention sponsors. In 2009, the NIBA Convention website attracted approximately 8000 visits throughout the promotional period from April to October.

Throughout the year, the NIBA Convention is widely promoted via press releases in the print media, related journals and publications

Full page advertisements are placed promoting attendance in each issue of NIBA’s official full-colour bi-monthly journal, Insurance & Risk Professional and distributed to a readership of more than 25,000 in the insurance and other related industries, both nationally and internationally.
Direct Marketing
Direct Mail - the NIBA Convention Main Announcement is distributed to 5000 businesses around Australia and overseas, delivering a message that reaches many more.
NIBA Gazette - this monthly communication to NIBA members has a national readership of 10,000 comprising all QPIB Fellows, QPIB’s and thier staff.
Convention Review - this special issue of Insurance & Risk Professional is highly anticipated, featuring convention highlights and photographs with great exposure for all sponsors and exhibitors.
Electronic - direct emails detailing conference updates are distributed regularly in the lead up to the conference to 14,000 recipients Australia wide.

The NIBA Convention is promoted at all NIBA functions around Australia at national and state level and at Australian and international insurance industry events.
