Cycle for cancer researchIt was a beautiful day in Ballarat as Team OAMPS — along with friends from Lumley, QBE and CGU — set off on the Ballarat Cycle Classic. OAMPS proudly sponsored the event’s fundraising cups, encouraging members to raise as much money as possible to support the vital contributions made by the Ballarat Cancer Research Centre. The annual event offered participants a series of challenging courses: 50km, 65km, 80km, 100km and a relay event. More than $100,000 was raised to support the Centre’s research and Team OAMPS is already preparing to get back on their bikes for February 2011!
