Finalists of the Warren Tickle Memorial Award announcedThe emergence of females in the new age of insurance broking has been confirmed with the announcement of the five finalists for the Warren Tickle Memorial Award (WTMA). Four of the five finalists are female:
First awarded in 1990, the WTMA is awarded to the person judged to be the most outstanding young professional in the country. Nominees are drawn from the ranks of NIBA membership in every state and territory. With backing of long-time sponsor Vero, the WTMA is now the most important – and the most prestigious – award that a young insurance broker can receive in Australia. In recent months judging has been taking place around Australia to select outstanding young brokers to represent their region. National judging will take place over two days in Sydney on 13 and 14 September and the winner will be announced at the NIBA Convention on 17th October 2010. NIBA would like to congratulate the state winners and, of course, all the nominees. At NIBA we are passionate believers in developing the industry leaders of tomorrow and to be nominated as Young Professional of the Year is a milestone in every broking career. We urge you all to try again next year. Click here to find out more about the Warren Tickle Memorial Award. Return to Broker Buzz |
