Registration for 2018 NIBA WA Mentoring Program Panel Discussion

NIBA's Mentoring program seeks to encourage and support young professionals to manage their own learning, maximise their potential, and develop their skills and performance. 

For the first time NIBA will be opening Workshop 2; Panel Discussion of the WA Mentoring Program to the wider industry. Come along and hear from four prominent WA members from the insurance industry on developing focused goals and direction.

Panelists for this session are: 

Brett Piggott, Executive Director & Client Relationship Manager, Willis Temby Insurance Brokers

Brett started his professional insurance career in 1990 with various underwriting and business relationship management roles. He transitioned into general insurance broking in 2000 when he was appointed as a director at Willis Temby Insurance Brokers. 
Over the course of his broking career, Brett has strengthened fundamental skills such as business strategy, business development and overall operational management. Client relationship management, employee mentoring and employee development are the key areas of his role that provide him with the greatest level of satisfaction as they have enabled him to meet many personal milestones and achievements. 
Brett is the winner of the 2017 NIBA Broker of the Year award. He is also the WA Chairman of the Insurance Broker Network Australia (IBNA).


Greg Stacey, Claims Relationship Manager, QBE

Greg has been employed with QBE for 25 years , all of which have been in General Claims related roles.
He has always been in the intermediary servicing division ranging from a Liability Claims supervisor to Regional Claims Manager WA/SA/NT.
He is currently the Claims Relationship Manager looking after the IBNA, Austbrokers and half of the Steadfast brokers in WA and all brokers in the NT.

Lise Crowhurst, Business Development Manager, Regis Mutual Management Ltd

Lise has worked in the industry for 32 years, starting her career in New Zealand but has enjoyed working in Western Australia for the last 23 years.  She has held roles in underwriting, claims and client service roles, working with SME, corporate and public sector clients, as well as the "other side of the fence" as a client.  




Louise Clarke, Bid-Manager Pacific, Marsh

Louise Clarke has over 9 years’ experience working in Sales and Marketing. During this time Louise has spent 5 years working within the insurance industry for two major international insurance broking companies. In 2016 Louise was seconded to Sydney for 9 months where she was exposed to large client opportunities on a regular basis. In 2017 Louise moved across to Marsh & McLennan Companies, where she is currently responsible for pursuit and bid management for both new business and defensive opportunities, across Australia and New Zealand. This role entails Louise working closely with the business development, servicing and placement teams, (which also includes international presence) responsible for the delivery of tenders.
