NIBA & CGU Business Planning Workshop

In the current insurance market, the ability to manage the business is more critical to the role of a broker than ever.  

In recognition of this, NIBA Victoria and CGU Insurance will present a half-day business planning workshop on 25th March. This workshop will provide insurance professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to help manage their business.

This workshop is useful to business owners or any insurance brokers that manage a portfolio of clients.

Topics will include:

  • Importance of having a Vision
  • Maintaining focus on your goals
  • Regular review of Initiatives
  • The G.R.O.W. principle
  • S.W.O.T. Analysis
  • A self-analysis of your own capability
  • SMART goals & Action Plan to address 

By focusing on a topic relevant to the insurance brokers, attendance offers a great opportunity for NIBA members to strongly position themselves for success in a challenging environment.

This workshop will be presented by two leading insurance industry sales professionals, Jeff Graham and Stuart Lowden. Jeff and Stuart are CGU’s Senior Managers of Sales Capability & Development, and bring a wealth of international sales and service coaching experience, along with a passion for teaching insurance professionals best practice and business strategies.

The session will provide 3 CPD points, and a morning tea will be provided.

Stuart Lowden
Stuart has over 38 years insurance experience spanning four states of Australia. Stuart’s focus is on sales and business development. He has spent the past few years specialising in Sales Capability Uplift, working with people leaders to help make their teams the best they can be.

Jeff Graham
Jeff has worked in the Insurance industry for over 40 years. His career has included a diverse number of roles across Australia including underwriting, claims, sales, marketing, operations, planning, relationship management and line management. Jeff’s focus for the past several years has centred on people development with a focus on Sales Capability Uplift.
