Presenter

Colin Chinner, Director, MSM Loss Management

In 1999, Colin became one of the founding partners of the firm now known as MSM Loss Management, a firm dedicated to working for clients and/or their broker in providing a high level of technical expertise and customer service on both insured and uninsured losses. Colin also enjoys the consulting side involving both pre and post loss matters.

Colin continues to specialise in the management of large losses, including major property, business interruption, financial, construction and a variety of liability losses. Assignments have been handled for a wide range of clients including multi-national companies, small to medium enterprises and government bodies throughout Australia, New Zealand, South-east Asia and the Middle East. When disputes arise he has provided expert reports on a wide range of financial losses and appeared as an expert witness on those matters. In addition he has provided expert evidence on a wide range of insurance matters over the years.

Colin is a regular presenter on technical matters, in particular Business Interruption & ISR policies at industry conferences and seminars and the co-author of a textbook on insurance.
