NIBA seeks member feedback: Public liability for the leisure and tourism industries

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is currently seeking feedback from members who have clients within the leisure and tourism sectors.

In particular, NIBA is keen to hear from members around Australia in relation to the availability and/ or affordability of public liability insurance for businesses within these sectors. The Association has previously provided a submission to the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) on the establishment of a Discretionary Mutual Fund for the leisure, amusement and recreation industries.

However, further feedback would be useful for NIBA and the broader industry to be able to assist government with their responses to the difficulties currently being experienced by operators within these industries.

Members who like to provide feedback or comments can do so by emailing NIBA’s Policy Manager Allyssa Hextell.
